For Wood:
During washing, do not soak wood items in water. Always dry off, and from time to time rub the piece lightly with neutral oil or spoon salve for protection. If you notice small marks appear caused from water or food, not to worry - as our pieces are untreated, this is likely to happen. To return its original sheen, lightly sand in circular motions with a touch of salve and small piece of 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper (+ we’ll include a small bit if sandpaper for this very reason!).

For Workaday Casseroles:
Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Maximum oven temperature 500˚F/260˚C. Do not use on stovetop or open flame. Always place on trivet or cloth when removed from a hot oven. Do not leave immersed in water. Always dry fully. Allow pot to cool before washing, drastic changes in temperature can cause it to crack.

For Stoneware + Porcelain:
All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe.
-
For Ash + Stoneware:
Hand wash and air dry.
-
For Porcelain & Earthenware:
All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. To remove stains from our polished matte pieces, use a soft brush, a bit of baking soda and warm water. For tough stains from tannins etc, bleach is ok to use and will shift most stubborn stains.
-
For Cookie Cutters:
Do not soak cutters in water or allow water or leave wet after washing, or the tin will rust. To clean, wipe with a warm damp cloth and dry entirely. Oh, and don’t be surprised is it darkens and marks slightly over time – this is normal for untreated tin.
-
For Cake Flags:
The cake flags are reusable. To clean, gently wash the base in warm soapy water. Lay flat to dry, then store upright on a flag stand or flat, delicately zipped into a plastic bag. Keep away from flame.
-
For Candles:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Do not leave burning unattended.
